Christmas vacation is here

Today, I wrote the last exam for the semester, which means that I am free until mid January. That is about the longest Christmas vacation I have ever had and it feels great. I have had two exams the last six days and I think I performed fairly well on both of them. The first was translation from Swedish to Chinese and the one today was more general Chinese, focusing on Chinese to Swedish. I have studied four months now, have almost finished the second text book and have learnt at least 800 new words. Not bad.

As for the holidays, I am as usual planning to get things done. Apart from Christmas itself and New Year’s Eve, I have no elaborate plans, but there are a few things I would like to do. I have couple of books that I have wanted to read for a long time, so finishing some would be nice. Continuing with two role-playing projects will also be a main task. Firstly, I want to proceed and perhaps finish Magneter och mirakel and secondly there is much going on in my online project Antioch (stay tuned, more news coming soon).

I am also going to spend at least a week at my parent’s, which is always nice. It looks like the whole family will be gathered together for Christmas Even, including my to elder siblings and their families. I am generally in a very good mood and I look forward to a couple of weeks investing it in whatever I find worthwhile. It remains to be seen if that includes posting here, but for some reason I rather think it will.
