Hey, why don’t you write anything anymore?

Regular visitors will have noticed that I have not written as much as I used to. Normally, I average around fifteen posts a month, but as you can see by scrolling down, I am far from that pace now. Since I have not properly explained why I post (a much better question than why I have not posted as frequently as before), I now intend to do so.

First and foremost, I only post when I feel that either I need to write about it for my own sake, or because I want to write about it because it benefits others (they probably are one and the same reason, but I prefer to view them as separate). What follows is that I do not write if I do not have anything to tell the world, or if I do not have something I myself find interesting enough.

Combined with this, I have had a lot to do. Trying to make the most of my time, I have cut down on many activities, including computer usage, at the same time as I have increased my studying efforts (mainly Chinese). This naturally leads to a lower production amount of material that might attract your attention and interest.

I have no plans an decreasing posting frequency, and have never had any such plans. This drop is due to circumstances rather than deeper patterns, so as soon as more interesting things happen, I will of course write more again. Having written an exam in Chinese today, I will have a lot more time on my hands, so keep your eyes peeled.
